Welcome

Welcome to the Blow & Believe Publications website.

Our Vision

Our vision is to fill the world with music.

Our Mission

Our mission is to provide affordable music to musicians of all ages and abilities.

Blow & Believe Publications was founded in 1995 as an outlet for the compositional output of Andrew Mackereth. Andrew had been arranging music since his late teens but had very little success in attracting the interest of brass band publishers. It was a friend that admired one of his arrangements for young band that suggested that other bands might also be interested in buying graded music that would appeal to their less experienced musicians.

All the best,

NUNSAB Ministry Series launched

This Spring sees the launch of the NUNSAB Ministry Series of pieces. These are taken directly from the repertoire of the Nuneaton Band of the Salvation Army. Under the direction of Bandmaster Andrew Mackereth since 1999, the band has maintained an effective ministry to their community.

The small band is comprised some very talented players who, though few in number, wish to play music that is as engaging and challenging to play as it is enjoyable to listen to. The pieces are typically short, often humorous and contain a clear Christian message. Each piece is playable with five players but divides when possible. There is usually no written percussion part but absolute licence to improvise!

All Things Bright and Floral

This song accompaniment was inspired by the forthcoming visit of the All Things_Page_1 All Things_Page_2Salvation Army Symphonic Wind Ensemble (SASWE) to Brighouse. In essence, it is an upbeat arrangement of All Things Bright and Beautiful with hints of the English Traditional: Floral Dance.

Early trials would seem to indicate it will be very popular with church, garden party and bandstand audiences with minimal rehearsal.
