This lively arrangement owes a debt of gratitude to Sergei Prokofiev who inadvertently allowed his Troika to be based on the same chord progressions as Good King Wenceslas. Who knew?!?

This song accompaniment was inspired by the forthcoming visit of the Salvation Army Symphonic Wind Ensemble (SASWE) to Brighouse. In essence, it is an upbeat arrangement of All Things Bright and Beautiful with hints of the English Traditional: Floral Dance.
Early trials would seem to indicate it will be very popular with church, garden party and bandstand audiences with minimal rehearsal.
Pom, Pom, Pom
The music is cross-cued to make it viable with 6/7 players. The percussion part adds a lot of character to the music but is not essential. Similarly, the addition of a tambourine etc. is encouraged.
