16/07/18 Latest major work reached completion this week entitled: To Heights Above, the rhapsody for brass band is based on the spiritual song: He Lifted Me. It is hoped that the work will be given a premiere by the University of Salford brass band under the direction of Dr Brett Baker in the autumn.
25/04/15 With the 2nd and 3rd Trombone Rhapsodies completed this time last year, it is encouraging to report that the 2nd, now renamed Divine Odyssey is set to be recorded by Brett Baker and the 3rd, now renamed Trombone Concerto has been recorded by the Central Band of the Royal Air Force.
28/09/13 After an eventful summer break, I return to writing again with an interesting series of challenges. My main preoccupation at the moment is the overture to celebrate the ministry of Major Yvonne Field.

18/02/13 Having recently completed the Overture: Let the Children Sing, in memory of my late friend Alan Laken I now turn my attention to making a transcription of my recent trombone rhapsody for the RAF Central Band.
15/08/12 Clydebank Variations (Diversions on Duke Street) was completed on Tuesday morning whilst cruising The Bay of Biscay.
14/06/12 All of my projects are completed. I am looking forward to starting on a new piece for the Clydebank Salvation Army Young People’s Band for their anniversary weekend.
28/03/12 Happy to say the Flugel Horn Solo: ‘Great is Thy Faithfulness’ is now complete so attention can turn to other projects.
Current ‘to do’ list includes a trombone rhapsody for Brett Baker and an overture to commemorate the 125th anniversary of the Salvation Army in Holland.
